What this tool does
Rotate PDF turns pages a quarter, half or three-quarter turn and saves the document that way. You can rotate the whole file at once or pick individual pages, which is what you usually want when a scanner has fed one sheet in the wrong way round.
How it works
The whole job runs inside your browser. Your document is read into memory on your own device and shown as a grid of pages, so you can see exactly which ones are the wrong way up before you change anything. Rotation is recorded against each page rather than applied immediately, so you can turn a page four times and back again at no cost, and only when you press Download is a new PDF written on your machine.

Your files stay on your device
This tool is marked in your browser, which means nothing is uploaded. You can confirm it yourself: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool still works. We never receive the file, so there is nothing for us to store, scan or delete.
Questions
Does the rotation stick when I open the file elsewhere?
Yes. The turn is written into the document, not shown only in our viewer.
Can I rotate one page and leave the rest?
Yes. Select the pages you want in the grid, then rotate. Nothing else is touched.
What if the page was already rotated?
Your turn adds to the existing one, so a page saved at a quarter turn plus your quarter turn comes out at a half turn.
Will the quality change?
No. Pages are copied across as they are. Nothing is re-compressed and no watermark is added.
