This Privacy Policy explains what ToolsPivot is, how our tools work, and exactly what information we do and do not collect when you use toolspivot.com. We have written it in plain English so you can actually understand it.

ToolsPivot is a free collection of online tools for SEO, web, content, images, conversions, and everyday utilities. Two things matter most for your privacy:
We tell you which is which throughout this policy. We do not sell your personal information.
When you use a server-side tool (for example a website safety checker, "is it down" checker, WHOIS or DNS lookup, blacklist lookup, an AI writing or detection tool, and similar), the URL, domain, IP, or text you enter is sent to our server so the tool can run. To produce a result, we may pass that input to the third-party service that powers the check (see Third-party services). We may also keep a limited record of tool usage, which can include the input you submitted, the tool used, your IP address, and the date, for abuse prevention, rate limiting, debugging, and improving our tools. Please do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal data into any tool.
When you use a client-side tool, what you type or the file you open stays on your device and is not sent to us at all.
Most of our image and file tools process your file inside your browser, so it never leaves your device. A few tools (for example removing metadata from a video or PDF, or reverse image search) do need to upload the file to our server to process it. In those cases the file is processed and then deleted automatically a short time later. We do not keep your uploaded files.
You can use almost all of ToolsPivot without an account. If you do create one, or sign in with Google, Facebook, or Twitter/X, we store the information needed to run that account, which may include your name, email address, a profile picture, your sign-in provider ID, and any profile details you add such as company, phone number, and address. If you register directly, your password is stored in a secured (hashed) form and we cannot read it.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address so we can send it. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email, message, and basic request details (including your IP address, browser user-agent, and the page you came from) so we can reply and prevent spam. If you leave a review, we store the review content and rating you submit.
To keep the tools free and working, ToolsPivot relies on third-party services. Depending on which tool you use, some of your information (such as the domain or URL you enter, or your IP address) may be sent to these providers. Each has its own privacy policy.
We only send your input to the provider needed to run the specific tool you chose.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for the following purposes:
| Type | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keep the site working, remember your session and your cookie choice, and protect against bots | Session cookie, cookie-consent choice, Cloudflare Turnstile |
| Analytics | Understand how the site is used so we can improve it | Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity |
| Advertising | Show ads and, with your consent, make them more relevant | Google AdSense / DoubleClick |
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies. You can also control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
ToolsPivot is free because it shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings and learn more through Google's advertising and privacy resources. If you decline advertising cookies in our consent banner, ads may still appear but should be non-personalized.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email us at marketing@toolspivot.com and we will respond as required by law. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the email.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including deleting uploaded files after processing, keeping API keys and secrets on the server only, hashing account passwords, and using bot protection. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
ToolsPivot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
ToolsPivot is operated from India and used worldwide. If you use the site, your information may be processed in India and in the countries where our third-party providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our tools change. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
